About

I grew up as an Army Brat and a CK, a “Chaplain’s Kid.”  I started accompanying military chapel services regularly at the age of eleven at Fort Riley, Kansas.

I have been an accompanist for several choirs, church services, instrumentalists, and opera singers. I’ve performed in concerts and Memorial Services across the United States, Germany, and the Philippines.

I’ve earned my Bachelor of Music Degree at Kansas State University, majoring in piano and minoring in violin, and studied piano with Dr. Robert Edwards, studied piano performance with Mr. Lazlo Lak at Biola University in La Mirada, CA, and studied piano technique with Dr. Elaine Brady.  I’m a composer, an arranger, and have maintained a private piano studio for over twenty years.

A member and former District of Columbia Branch President of the National League of American Pen Women, I am on the Board of the Woodbridge Music Club, and the NLAPW National Board, an NFMC member, and an ASCAP member.  Vinnie Ream Award Winner, 3rd place in Music for the NLAPW in 2016.
